This improvement can do wonders for other sports and exercises such as yoga and soccer (ask David Beckham about his trampolining regimen). Whether it's for a trampoline birthday party, a family pick-up basketball game, or visiting the fun zone of Altitude Little Rock, we can help you bounce your way to better balance.

What do these changes mean? You'll see weight loss, muscle gain, an increase in your muscle to fat ratio, cellulite loss, and a decrease in varicose veins. These benefits help make trampolining the greatest supplement to any other exercise you are doing. It's low stress, works out your complete range of muscles, and helps build up the major systems necessary for a healthy, active, and fit body.
  4. The Rush of Endorphins.  Like any great exercise, trampolining also provides endorphins to the body to boost mental health and happiness. And while getting the motivation to push through a weight-lifting session or a long run can be difficult, the easy to approach nature of trampolining makes it an excellent way to incorporate exercise into your daily routine. Want to hear something even better? Trampolining is the perfect activity to do as a group, so gather a group of friends to bounce around and do tricks, play basketball, or join a game of dodgeball. You'll be able to feel the benefits in your body and mind (and not the soreness in your arms and legs)!
  5. Rain or Shine? More Like Day AND Night!  The weather here in Little Rock can always be a bit unpredictable. The Most Extravagant Birthday Parties In The World

March 14, 2017
How much would you spend to celebrate your birthday? 100 bucks? 100 grand? A million? Well, while some of us shrug and say, ‘what the heck? It’s only a birthday’ when asked what plans we have, the Perez Hiltons of this world are hiring the world’s most expensive planners to ensure to make that day will be fantastic. It would not be a 32nd birthday if the world did not stop to take note.

1. The Sultan is 50! – 27.2 million

The Sultan of Brunei knows how to have a good time. He is said to have spent as much as $27.2 million when he turned 50 in 1996. He did not just serve his guest's caviar and champagne, but he also paid The King of Pop, Michael Jackson $16 million to entertain his guests.

Brunei’s Sultan, Hassanal Bolkiah is no celebrity, but his parties have been known to top the Quick read more or view full article world’ most extravagant.

2. Steve Schwarzman – $20-25 million

60 is clearly a milestone that tycoons take seriously. On his 60th, Steve Schwarzman, philanthropist, and CEO of the Blackstone Group did not pinch pennies. He is said to have spent between $3 and 5 million to have his close family, friends, and influential people entertained.

That was ten years ago. This year, 2017 marks yet another birthday and guess who went all out? The Wall Street mogul is said to have spent between $20 and 25 million to host a lavish birthday party at his Mar-a-Lago estate, which is a stone throw away from President Trump’s ‘winter Statehouse.’ The guest list included the crème of the world’s VIP. Gwen Stefani and the Jersey Boys entertained the 600 invitees.

3. Elizabeth Brooks’ Bar Mitzvah  - $10 million

When David H. Brooks was still wealthy and famous, he made his then 13-year old daughter, Elizabeth, a very happy teenager. He granted her wish by flying in her favorite artists to perform at her Bar Mitzvah. Thanks to her diverse taste in music, Aerosmith, 50 Cent, Ciara, ad Steve Nicks were all flown in for the occasion on his company jet to dot on the young lady. How much did that cost? $10 million, but then again daddy could afford it.

4. David Bonderman - $7 million

They say everything is big in Texas; birthday parties included. It is not every day that one of the world’s richest turns 60. The equity titan spent a whopping $ 7 million to have John Mellencamp and The Rolling Stones perform for his carefully selected guests. Robin Williams was the comedy act.

Bonderman is known to throw extravagant birthday parties, and when he turned 70, he had a similarly star-studded bash. Paul McCartney was the surprise performer this time.

5. Andrei Melnichenko – 2 million

The Russian billionaire has a taste for the finer things in life. When he got married to former model Aleksandra Nikolic Melnichenko, he spent $4 million to have Christina Aguilera perform for the newlyweds.

On her birthday, he flew Jennifer Lopez in to perform at her party, which set him back $2 million. But then again, when you are a Russian industrialist, and on Forbes List of 400 great ones, this is pocket change, no?

6. Naomi Campbell -$1.8 million

It is not every day that supermodel Naomi Campbell turns 36, and so she had to let the world know she had arrived. The supermodel threw a lavish 3-day affair, renting all the 18 floors of the Burj Al Arab Hotel, and invited all her close friends to celebrate with her. Each of the three days was themed into ‘all white,’ ‘hip-hop,’ and ‘Brazilian Samba.’ That was some party, wasn’t it?

7. David Sacks Lets them Eat Cake - $1.4 million

Tech entrepreneur and investor David Sacks couldn’t let his 40th birthday pass without inviting folk to eat cake and make merry. His party themed ‘Let them eat cake’ cost him $1.4 million. But considering that Yammer, the company he was heading at that time, had just been acquired by Microsoft for slightly over $1 billion, it could have been a celebration of a new beginning. And life begins at 40, remember?

8. Sean "P. Diddy" Combs'-$3 million

The hip-hop mogul is known for his ‘all white parties’ that bring together the crème Del’ a crème of the music industry. If you aren’t invited to those, then you do not matter in the industry, or so it is said. Well, he knows how to show self-love. When he turned 40, the star made such a deal of his big day with a star-studded guest list, performances from some of the biggest names, and the world's finest white orchids which set him back no less than $28,000. Clearly, this party was a far outcry from his humble beginnings in Harlem.

9. Oprah Winfrey’s 50th Birthday

Some parties are so exclusive that the cost remains anybody’s guess. Winfrey, the queen of everything successful and one of the richest people in the world, celebrated her 50th in style. I mean, you can only imagine what it took to bring together Tina Turner, Stevie Wonder, Jay Leno, Dr. Phil, Jennifer Anniston, Kelly Preston, Maria Shriver, among others. If you are Oprah, it only takes a phone call.

10. Chanel Iman Comes of Age

21 is a big deal when you are a world-renowned model and enjoying success at a tender age. It means, among other things, that you are officially legal in almost every part of the world. Victoria Secret’s Chanel Iman could not wait to let the world know that she was coming of age in a lavish party that was the talk of the town for over a week.

11. Paris Hilton At 21

What to do when you are an heiress who just reached the legal age to access her large trust fund? You throw several parties in some of the most expensive cities in the world to celebrate in style. Spend a measly $75,000 per guest and have nothing but the world’s most famous chef serve catering to you and your kith. That is how you do it in Hilton’s world.  Read Less

Treat your Toddlers to a Birthday at Altitude Trampoline Park

May 3, 2016
Toddlers are a strange breed. For children who only just began to walk and talk, they sure do have a lot of opinions. Toddlers are picky and it can be difficult to please them. The last thing you want to do is upset your child on their birthday. Fill them and their friends with awesome memories of fun and adventure at Altitude Trampoline Park!

Safety before Fun
You may be skeptical about letting your young toddler jump around a room of trampolines. Trampolines can be dangerous, there’s no doubt. As much as you want your child to have fun, you also want them to always be safe. At Altitude, we share the same sentiment. That’s why safety always comes first.

To ensure everyone’s safety, we have a list of rules all jumpers must adhere to. Some rules are: no sitting on the trampolines, no wrestling or tackling each Quick read more or view full article other, one person per jumping surface, and no potentially dangerous jewelry, belts or other accessories are allowed to be worn while jumping. You can find the full list here.

While it’s good to know the rules, we have a highly trained staff to help enforce these rules. Our court monitors are the best in the biz. They’ll attentively watch out for any potential dangers on the trampolines. If an accident should happen, our staff is trained to respond quickly and handle emergencies. All employees must take several days of safety training courses and are updated monthly about new safety rules and procedures.

As our staff’s eyes cannot be everywhere at once, we have designed the park to be as safe as possible. We have soft trampoline walls that keep the jumpers from falling off trampolines, as well as netting, padding to cover springs and steel, a foam pit, and regular safety inspections. If you’d like to know more, click here.

What Is There To Do?
Now that you know your toddler will be completely safe at our park we can talk about some of the features we have to offer. Altitude Trampoline Park isn’t just a room of trampolines. It’s so much more!

First we have our main court that is equipped with 125 floor and wall trampolines. That’s a lot of jumping room! We also have a 60 foot foam pit to be launched into from one of our four designated trampolines. If that isn’t exciting enough, there are also enclosed dodgeball courts for some exciting jumping dodgeball games!

For a toddler, these activities may be a little too dangerous, especially if there are older jumpers on the trampolines. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. Our special kid zone is for jumpers 80lbs and under. However, toddlers are welcome to play in any part of the park, but you may want to accompany them. As long as they’re in the kid zone, you can sit back and relax.

Parents, come on and join the fun too! As much as your toddler will love jumping with their friends, we’re sure they’ll love jumping with you too!

Birthday Fun!
At Altitude, we love birthday parties. What better way to celebrate your toddler’s birthday than with a personalized trampoline party? Everyone loves trampolines, even the pickiest of toddlers!

No toddler is the same, which is why you can customize your child’s birthday party. But all parties include: two hours of jump time, access to the entire park, a personal party host, party set-up and clean up, free bottled water, a free pass for the birthday girl or boy (for future use), a free altitude t-shirt, and the necessary items for food (plates, cups, utensils, napkins).

Those are the basics. Now to get creative! You have the choice between a private room and the trampoline room. The trampoline room is the general eating area. There is ample seating room for your party, parents and more! We also have private rooms if you wish to celebrate in a more personal setting.

If you’re interested, we’ll also provide your party with Domino’s Pizza. For 10 jumpers, two large pizzas will be provided and for 20 jumpers, you’ll get four large pizzas. If this doesn’t tickle your fancy, feel free to choose the No Food option and bring your own! Plates and cups will be provided with both the Food and No Food options.

We also offer a 100% refund of any party deposits, should you need to cancel within 24 hours of the event.

Four Birthday Ideas for Kids to Make Your Life Easier

December 11, 2015
Planning your kid’s birthday party can be stressful and expensive. You want everyone to have a good time, especially the birthday boy or girl. These are the days they’ll look back on and think, “My parents threw me some pretty awesome birthday parties.”

If you’re stuck for ideas on how to throw the perfect, most memorable birthday party, here are four awesome birthday ideas and tips to get the ball rolling:

1. Pick a Theme
Picking a theme will make your party planning experience a much easier one. Choosing a theme is the hardest part. That being said, it’s not hard at all. Every kid has a favorite movie, television show, band, or cartoon character. Find out what it is and run with it.

Finding a theme will also make your decoration shopping a lot less overwhelming. These party stores are often cluttered with everything shiny and Quick read more or view full article colorful and if you’re like me, it’s easy to get lost in the magic (and to spend money on all the magic). A theme will help focus your shopping trip to avoid spending money you don’t have to spend.

As an added bonus, a lot of popular kid’s themes like Disney’s Frozen are sold in ready-made bundles of supplies. You won’t have to scan every aisle looking for the perfect Frozen napkins and tables cloths and party hats because they’ll all come in a neat care pack. Check your local party store for what’s available!

2. Fun Goodie Bags
Goodie bags are probably the best part of any party. Kids especially love them because they get to leave with a bag of surprises. This doesn’t have to be a costly expense either with a trip to your local dollar store. A dollar can go a long way. Goodie bags don’t have to be overdone. Kids will be happy to be getting a bag filled with little toys and treats, regardless of how much is in there.

You can even shop for goodie bags with your chosen theme in mind. If you’re throwing a party themed around a certain band, you don’t have to go out and buy a copy of their latest CD for everyone. This outside the box! Think of what music themed toys will be fun to stick in a goodie bag. Consider music note stickers, or plastic instruments, etc.

3. Food For Everyone
Catering your kid’s birthday party can be a daunting task, especially when you’re already running at full speed, balancing work, kids, home life, school, and all of life’s daily stresses. If you just don’t have the time to put together a feast for 20 or more kids, you might want to consider throwing the birthday party at a great party venue.

Altitude Trampoline Park (just sayin’!) offers a birthday package that includes two large pizzas. Everyone loves pizza, even the pickiest of kids. But, if by some crazy fluke, someone isn’t into pizza, don’t worry, there are other options. Between the Domino’s Pizza and Chick-fil-A menus, there’s sure to be something for everyone.

Altitude also offers a No Food option, so if you have other birthday meal plans somewhere else, don’t worry, we won’t force you to eat!  As for drinks, free bottled water is included in Altitude’s birthday package with both the Pizza and No Food options. The kids will need it after all that jumping!

4. Trampoline Party Games
The kids will have no problem having fun at an indoor trampoline park, but just in case things begin to simmer down and there’s still available jumping time, you may want to have some party games in your back pocket. Think back to the games you used to play as a kid on the trampoline in your backyard!

A classic game to play is having the kids jump on the trampoline while someone on the sidelines tosses foam balls onto the trampoline. The goal is to have the kids avoid the balls. If they get hit by a ball, they’re out of the game. The last one standing (or jumping) is the winner! This game gets everyone at the party involved, even the parents!

Birthday parties are supposed to be fun; even for the parents. Let Altitude Trampoline Park take the normal birthday party planning pressure off. Check out the Birthday Party page of our website for more information!

Have Your Cake and Eat It Too at Altitude Trampoline Park

November 23, 2015
It used to be that the only way to get a workout in was to painfully lug yourself to the gym, do some crunches, maybe 20 minutes of cardio, hit the showers, and head home. No wonder people think exercise is mind numbingly dull. However, a new trend has emerged in the world of exercise and physical activity: Fun.

Fun, like jumping on a trampoline fun. Long forgotten are the days of your childhood summers spent bouncing atop your best friend’s trampoline. But… why? It was such a good time! The good news is you don’t have to abandon those memories any longer. You’re never too old to get back on the trampoline, so to speak.

Trampoline exercises are some of the best exercises out there. Sure, you may be jumping indoors instead of under the hot summer sun, but it beats lying on a sweaty gym floor Quick read more or view full article doing exercises that render little results. Indoor trampolining is still incredibly entertaining, slightly addictive, and can be done all year round.

Health Benefits of Trampoline Exercise
Trampolining works your entire body in one workout. It is a great cardio exercise that works to tone your muscles and increase endurance. It goes without saying that trampoline jumping will work the legs, but it will also work your arms and abs. Your abs (or core) are crucial in keeping your balance when jumping. The best part is your abs will naturally engage as you jump without you even having to think about it!

Arms are a little tougher to work on the trampoline, but that doesn’t mean you can’t. Arms can be worked in a number of ways that don’t require weights. You just have to be a little more creative – try doing a sort of pushup jump, for example.
For those with sensitive knees, trampolining is a great alternative to running or jogging. Pavement and treadmills are hard surfaces to land on and put a lot of pressure on your knees, causing strain which can be painful and discouraging. Trampolines are soft and take most of that pressure off the knees, all while providing you with just as good a cardio workout.

Another enticing benefit is that you’ll notice a significant boost in metabolism. A high functioning metabolism means your body can better absorb nutrients. The result? Better control over your weight. Keeping your weight down can be hard, but with a more efficient metabolism you’ll have more ease managing it.

And the list goes on. Additional benefits include lowering cholesterol, blood pressure and increased circulation. One trampoline fitness class (of one hour) can easily burn 1000 calories! You’d need to run a little more than six miles straight to burn that many calories in an hour.

You Can Enjoy Exercising
Don’t let exercise be the most dreaded part of your day. Physical activity is about more than just getting to your ideal weight, or fitting into an old pair of jeans. It’s about feeling good and healthy and not getting winded when walking up a flight of stairs. At Altitude Trampoline Park, you really can have your cake and eat it too. Trampolining is fun and a great addition to your weekly workout regimen that you can do alone or with friends and family – we’re pretty sure the kids will like it too!
